Sleep

For centuries, fish has been the sacred symbol of Christians, uniting people with the same faith into a whole. The division of the painting into two compositional quadrants emphasizes the characters' attitudes. Faith can be preserved in a fragile bowl or can exist separately. The very title of the artwork, "Sleep," describes the neutral stance toward the religious moments of the nation.

Cornelia Druța

Cornelia has been painting for 14 years. She matured technically by graduating from the Republican College of Fine Arts "Alexandru Plămădeală." She conveys the message of a painting through gesture and line, giving a new value to beauty on her canvases. Currently, she is preparing for her first solo exhibition with a figurative character.
