"Impulse"
explores the essence of movement and the hidden force within matter, representing a moment of tension and latent energy. Through the sculptural form in travertine, I aimed to capture the idea of a sudden impulse, an imminent shock propelling the element into space. The sharp lines and precise angles suggest direction and dynamism, while the natural texture of the stone adds an organic sensation.
I sought to create a subtle contrast between the hardness of the material and the suggested fluidity of the form, to convey the concept of an invisible force that gives rise to motion and evokes stability.
