"Third Eye"
This artwork is a visual meditation on inner vision and the profound wisdom of intuition. The central, heavily textured form becomes a symbolic eye—not one that sees the external world, but one that perceives the vast, inner landscape of the self.
The "eye" represents the quiet, contemplative space of the mind where true insight resides. The very process of its creation—exposing the form to light—becomes a powerful metaphor for the inner illumination that sparks understanding. It is the light you can see when your physical eyes are closed, a radiant knowing that emerges from darkness.
From its base, delicate, floral shapes bloom into existence. These are the manifestations of intuitive thought: the ideas, creativity, and clarity that spring forth when we learn to trust our inner guidance. The piece is an invitation to silence the external world, to look inward, and to perceive the subtle, unseen truths that guide us. It is a powerful reminder that the deepest vision is not a function of the eyes, but of the soul.

Victor Detto is an artist whose work examines the fragile relationship between humanity and the natural world. Through photography, video storytelling, Polaroid manipulation, and cyanotype, he explores modern social dilemmas and the ways we have drifted away from nature. His art often reflects themes of intuition, fear, and unspoken body language. In his 2023 solo exhibition, he presented a striking series of nude photographs and installations focused on the physical manifestations of fear. Through his practice, Victor invites viewers to look beyond the surface and reconnect with both their inner and outer worlds.
