Cătălin Viridis is a graphic artist and a graduate of the Faculty of Visual Arts and Design at UPSC. His practice leans toward traditional graphics and painting, working with a wide range of materials in a continuous search for new textures. In his works, color becomes raw material — he brings together tones that collide, repel, and ultimately find reconciliation in an unexpected harmony.
Growing up in a village in northern Moldova and later continuing his studies in Bălți, he believes these places shaped his gaze and sensibility. This background translates into his art through a natural simplicity and calmness. His personal history remains his main partner in dialogue throughout his creative process.
