Fragment of a cityscape - transmits feeling a feeling of silence and a frozen moment.
Karaush Arina is an artist and graphic designer studying at the University of Arts in Chișinău. In her practice, she combines traditional and experimental graphic techniques, including etching, drypoint, and the use of unconventional materials such as Tetra Pak. Her visual language is built on the interplay of light, shadow, and texture, exploring themes of memory, the body, and the human inner state.
She pays close attention to the rhythm of lines and natural forms, seeking a balance between intuition and structure. Arina is particularly interested in motifs of metamorphosis and the organic interaction between humans and space. Through layered compositions, she aims to convey not only form but also a subtle sense of presence.
