"Wait a bit"
"Wait a bit" – a work created in May 2024, during a moment of inner confusion. The warm atmosphere with closely related tones reflects the character's lost gaze, searching for solutions to resolve personal struggles and waiting for the right moment to make a change. Surrounded by familiar surroundings, the character hopes to escape the routine and find herself again.
Olivia Furtună began her academic journey at Bănești Gymnasium, while also attending the courses of the “Nicolae Moisei” School of Fine Arts in Telenești. She later studied Decorative Arts at the “Alexandru Plămădeală” College of Fine Arts in Chișinău. Currently, she is a second-year student specializing in Painting at the Academy of Music, Theatre, and Fine Arts (AMTAP).
