"Emergence"
The bird perched on the flower symbolizes the moment of a silent emergence — the arrival of a feeling, a thought, or a change yet to be named. I want the viewer to feel that inner “finally,” when waiting becomes presence. This work is about the first moment of transformation.
Iulia Iacob is a graphic arts student at Ion Creangă University. She enjoys creating engravings and combining printmaking with other techniques. Her work often returns to simple, almost archaic symbols — birds and plants — not to narrate a story directly, but to create a space the viewer can enter. For her, it is not important to explain, but to evoke — a sense of quiet, of roots, of the inner movement that exists without noise.
